Next more important ultimate step to manufacture kanchi sarees is weaving. The looms used in kancheepuram are mostly Frame looms. Main area of concern of Kanjeevaram weaver’s has always been to come up with creative and trendy designs and at the same time, to use traditional Indian printing methods.  They use eco-friendly colours in our printing which are mainly made from vegetables. The weavers are into this profession traditionally. None of the weavers are trained but they have acquired this unique skill hereditarily from their ancestors. The art of weaving is passed on by way of vision and practice. There are no theoretical explanations or training for weaving.


But unfortunately due to the low wages the traditional weavers are opting out of this industry even they use golden and silver zari to manufacture kanchi saris.
